Illiquid and Insolvent? Some stylised facts on Irish residential property investors

Why do Irish Buy-to-let investors with underwater investments not sell? Well, the photo shows why. Theyre covering their interest cost, and anyhow cant take the hit. They dont even think the investments will do all that well in the short or long term. Oh, and a lot of them are just anchored to the price at which they bought the investments… which is dumb as the good times aint coming back….
