You are cordially invited to the first Dublin Behavioral and Experimental Finance Colloquium.

Theme: Behavioral and Experimental Finance – Theory into Practice “

Time and Place: Trinity College Dublin, Institute for International Integration Studies, Sutherland Center, Arts Building, Saturday 6 December 2014 0900-1800

Publication: Papers accepted for presentation at the colloquium will be provided with a fast track review for possible publication in the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance. on submission to the journal

Paper Submission: Papers in all areas of behavioral and experimental finance are welcome. There is no submission fee. Papers should be submitted to DBEFcolloquium@mail.com before 1 October 2014, with the subject “2014 submission”; paper status will be confirmed by 10 October

Registration: Registration should be made by email to DBEFcolloquium@mail.com with the subject line “2014 Registration”. There is a €50 fee for this colloquium (accepted papers exempted). Payment details will be provided on receipt of email.

Keynote Speaker: The keynote speaker is Dr Greg Davies. Greg B Davies is the head of Behavioural Finance at Barclays, where he leads a global team of behavioural and quantitative finance specialists, and is responsible for the design and global implementation of Barclays’ Investment Philosophy. An Associate Fellow at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School he has authored papers in multiple academic disciplines, and is a frequent media commentator on Behavioural Finance. He is an associate editor of the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Cape Town, an MPhil in Economics, and a PhD in Behavioural Decision Theory, both from Cambridge University.
